The Mayo Radio Experimenters Network is based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. Ireland.
The society was established in 1997 by a number of like minded amateur radio operators from the Mayo area, John McDonnell, EI6IR, was the first Chairperson.
The society has an active membership of people involved in the hobby of amateur radio. The club holds it’s meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at 9.30p.m. local time at The Welcome Inn Hotel in Castlebar.
